This Visual Arts for Employability program focuses on building employability skills in vulnerable learners who are unemployed, underemployed, who may have barriers which may have hampered their ability to engage with the community and learning in a meaningful way.

This Visual Arts for Employability program focuses on building employability skills in vulnerable learners

Additionally, learners will be contacted and provided with links to Swinburne Skills & Job Centre and Chisholm Skills and Job Centres employment training webinars and future pathways to employment or further study will be discussed with them.

Learners will have access to an Employment Broker to discuss opportunities.

Learners interested in self-employment will be provided with links to Small Business Victoria.

Learners will also be encouraged to volunteer and participate in community life through their local neighbourhood house or other not for profit organisations.

 

Pathways from this program may lead to engaging positively with the community, other pre-accredited programs, accredited training, employment or self-employment.

The Basin Community House offers this 20 hour quality Learn Local pre accredited program for vulnerable learners.  The course can be delivered face to face, blended or online.
